That's exactly what a friend of mine and I were saying just last week- a true cult classic; a pity and a blessing that Donnie Darko will never gain full Hollywood acclaim, but it doesn't need it. loyal viewers support it just the same and appreciate the sci-fi, intellectual value of the film.
